Pocket-Sized Magic Coloring Book

I believe just about everyone has seen the magic coloring book trick either in person, on television, or streamed online. It’s often one of the first tricks beginners learn. I was looking for the full-sized coloring book at various markets, but at the time, it was sold out or had a long wait. I found that ClownAntics had a smaller version, so I ordered it along with a few other products.

Once the package arrived, I was amused as I flipped through the pages and watched the colors appear and disappear. It’s very easy to master the trick, and you can pair it with other items, such as a wand or a prop palette of paint, or ask an individual to participate, saying magic words, snapping fingers, or blowing onto it to help immerse people in the magic. I brought it with me once, and a child was amused and asked me to repeat it. Unfortunately, I had to tell him I had to save the extra colors for other children who may want to see them.

An insert within the book provides instructions and suggests having three copies to perform a different trick with audience participation.
