There has been a lot of rearranging of menus, categories, and content on this website lately. As the career section became more complete, I started focusing on hobbies. Many of my musical instruments were added, along with new writing pages and early stubs for games. My “Letters to the Editor” were moved to Hobbies → Writing → Public Commentary, since they represent civic opinion rather than career output. I also added a Correspondence section under Writing so meaningful exchanges don’t get buried in the general feed.
The “blog” itself has been renamed Chronicles to reflect a more archival view of what’s happening here. It now includes both in-the-moment posts and older entries added later to document earlier parts of my life. Over time, I’ll also be adding categories for influences such as musicians, books, podcasts, and other sources of inspiration.
The site is now broadly organized like this:
- Chronicles — what I’m doing right now
- Career — what I do to make a living
- Community — how I show up locally
- Hobbies — what I explore outside of work
- About — who I am
- Search — how to find things
The Community section may change in the future, since many items are already moving into Career and Hobbies. The Career area is designed as an interactive résumé. Each page includes an “executive portfolio” organized into Professional Journey, Credentials, and Community & Service, with entries listed chronologically, featuring logos and concise résumé-style summaries that link to longer narratives.

I’ve also split the Search page into separate views for tags, archives, and categories, making it easier to explore the site from different angles. Finally, I added a plugin that enables me to run a cognitive system across the entire site using a large language model. It uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to pull information from different pages as context when answering questions — similar to how tools like ChatGPT work when you upload documents.
