As a front-end web developer, my primary role involved supporting a service-mesh architecture with microservices, employing a diverse array of technologies, including React, React Hooks, functional components, Redux-Saga, Webpack, Babel, Node.js, Elasticsearch, Docker, and Go. Responsibilities encompassed diverse tasks ranging from handling geographic maps and streaming video to generating PDF documents and consolidating search result classifications. Later transitioned to a specialized role focused on Golang for data ingestion via Kafka messages, managing large volumes of files from other microservices, extracting textual content from documents and images, and interfacing with external services for document categorization and tagging. Additionally, I developed supplementary messaging systems to ensure clients remained informed about batch progress and any encountered errors.
