Period: April 21, 2023 – March 2024
During my time as an active member of the Rotary Club of Front Royal, I contributed by managing the club’s website and participating in community events that support local causes and raise funds. My membership was sponsored by directors from the local Chamber of Commerce and the Samuels Public Library. Among my volunteer efforts, I checked in participants at American Red Cross blood drives, joined street litter cleanup initiatives, raised funds for polio eradication, donated food, and helped pack Doc Smith Christmas baskets. I also sponsored a golf tournament, served as a hole-in-one witness, handed out candy during the town’s “Spooky Saturday” event, and attended weekly meetings featuring speakers from local, state, and national organizations.
Being a Rotarian was an honor, but financial limitations ultimately made it challenging to continue. I hope to rejoin one of the local Rotary Clubs in the future, ideally as an individual member rather than through a business, with more flexibility in weekly attendance requirements.
