Today I read about a singing program on Torley's blog that allows you to generate musical melodies to songs, just by singing. I was amused and decided to download the Microsoft Songsmith program myself with a six hour trial. I quickly created a song by freestyling and played it back. I was laughing with the results. I also found that searching youtube brings up a lot of funny results of popular songs. People grabbed the vocals for many songs and let Songsmith generate the melody and the beat.
