I have improved upon my Latitude/Longitude Lookup Globe. When someone touches the globe, it still converts the UV coordinates to degrees, minutes, and seconds. However, it now displays the name of a place, country, town, and city. I was able to do this by calling a web service from GeoNames. Large oceans and some locations do not provide any information at all. However, it's really exciting to see the data come back for most land masses.
