Summary
In this thirty-sixth Dreamy Audio entry, Lewis Moten recounts a city overtaken by strangeness where a scrappy pack of dogs called Just In functions as a roaming news network, reporting crises even as a freezing force descends. Hope returns when the dogs are discovered celebrating somewhere in the city, signaling resistance and continuity. Parallel to this, he repeatedly intercepts a would-be kidnapper, confronting the absurdity of being paid to stop someone who keeps committing crimes he knows will be caught.
The dream fragments into public spectacle and illogical shortcuts: escorting a famous woman determined not to marry—only for her to do so anyway under cameras; navigating tunnels that require specific tobacco pipes; and ending in a restaurant unable to rid his mouth of foul tobacco as even clean water turns brown. The dream closes on contamination, futility, and systems that promise clarity but deliver confusion.
Analysis
This dream reflects frustration with systems that claim order but recycle chaos. The news dogs symbolize grassroots truth amid collapse, while repeated crimes and reversed decisions suggest futility in intervention. The tobacco-stained water closes the loop: once confusion or corruption enters, even attempts at cleansing carry its residue.

There were a group of dogs all throughout the city. Well, they were just a lot of scraggly dogs, but together they formed a group. And the group was called Just In. And basically what they do is they find out the news, and they report it over the radio.
See, this is the news that just came in, and they would read out the short blurb or something like that. Here you have some unforeseen force. It took over the city, and all the dogs pretty much got out. And somehow this force had turned to see cold and snowing. But towards the end we saw that the dogs were still here in the city somewhere.
They were actually partying, and I kind of brought hope because now we knew that they were coming back, and they would help fight the force. There was also a young man. There was a young man who was involved in kidnapping someone, and he was with another person that was helping him. And I stopped him just as he tried. And I caught the guy off guard that there was actually someone already on the case.
And the guy who took it was surprised, so I couldn’t go and grab him, but I could tell him. I’ve been on this case since yesterday, since it was put into action. I’ve known about it since the beginning. But why, I understand why he kept doing all these things. It was great for me because I get paid to keep stopping him from doing stuff. But I was just baffled with why he would keep doing things to that I would keep catching him at. And look how person he was. I kept going, oh I’m trying to demoralize his character or whatever. I couldn’t do anything because his other friend had a gun, so I couldn’t get out. So I eventually just drove off and left him there to think about what he’s been doing.
There’s another part where I was trying to get him to stop me from doing things. It was this woman who wanted to get divorced with her husband. Apparently she wasn’t married to him yet, but she was very famous.
And she was on her way to tell her husband that she didn’t want to get married. So, me and my friend offered her services to help her get to the place that she needed to go to. And our kid friend showed up and he was going to help out. And it turns out he started to take off his clothes in the older original friend who was with me.
Since he realized that the kid just wanted to offer his services, so to speak, picked him up, walked to the doors and just threw him out the doors. And the trans reporter with us, a woman who was actually giving the other woman some words of encouragement and saying, you know, it’s great you’re doing this because all women are looking forward to you doing this and something like that. And we show up at the place where she’s supposed to get to the place she wants to get divorced and so get married. It’s like all these reporters and cameras are looking at her. And then she goes through with it and gets married anyway.
A couple of people are shocked. There’s one part where I’m going to go with my sister-in-law. And we’re going to go through a tunnel and then she decides to get a smoking pipe that comes with tobacco so that we can go into another tunnel that’s shorter. Apparently you can access this tunnel as long as you have this tobacco pipe. I’m sorry, but she wanted a different tobacco pipe so I told her why don’t you just get the other tobacco pipe. And she got them both so that you can still have the tobacco pipe you like but you can still get it through the tunnel that’s shorter.
And she was like, oh, amazed at the logic. And then I got out the tobacco pipe and I started chewing the tobacco to get it ready. Which tastes nasty. I don’t even know why I would chew tobacco to smoke it.
That doesn’t make sense. But then I was in a restaurant. I was trying to spit out all the tobacco. And I couldn’t get it out of my mouth. I had a cup of water that was trying to drink and gargle but I could see the tobacco seeping into the water that I was drinking. So the water was starting to turn brown.
