Summary
In this thirty-first Dreamy Audio entry, Lewis Moten recounts a dream built on misdirection and mistaken assumptions. Sent to pick up a horse, he’s diverted by an exclusive club that denies him entry, redirecting him toward stables that never quite line up with where he’s parked or supposed to be.
The emotional core lands unexpectedly: he spots his father heading into the club, absorbed in a different life and family, barely noticing him. Confusion compounds when a call to his boss reveals a final mismatch—the task assumed equipment he never had—leaving the dream suspended in quiet displacement and logistical impossibility.
Analysis
This dream centers on roles imposed without consent or readiness. The horse represents responsibility or burden assigned by authority, while the missing trailer highlights assumptions others make about your capacity. The brief family encounter underscores parallel lives moving on, reinforcing a theme of being out of place—not through failure, but through expectations never aligned with reality.

nd i was dreaming that i was supposed to go to this place. I like some kind of club where there were horses. You know, I was supposed to pick up a horse from the stables. But I was inside a club first. As I got inside a woman asked me where my membership was. I told her I didn’t have a membership. I was supposed to pick up a horse.
She said that the stables were farther down the road. And then I left the club house or whatever it is. So as I was starting to walk towards my car, I was walking past a lot of people walking towards the club. I saw my dad just walking towards the club.
And he didn’t notice me. And I was going to call out dad, but I figured there’s so many deads there. So I called out his actual name. And he didn’t see me at first. And then I called out dad. And then he saw me. I was like, what are you doing here? And he was like, I’m getting lunch.
And I was promising, you know, it’s a really expensive place to get lunch. And he caught up with a small girl and held her hand. And another man was holding the girl’s other hand. And they walked towards the club. Apparently, he had moved on with another family in his life.
And it was just really weird to just see him have other plans in his life. So anyway, I’m walking towards my car. And I noticed I parked next to a stable so I’m just getting really confused.
And I’m just getting really confused. And I ended up calling my boss at work. Because he’s the one who told me to go pick up the horse. And I get information from him. And I don’t know, it’s a whole big mess because apparently, he had assumed that my vehicle was equipped to carry a horse trailer. And my vehicle is not equipped to do such a thing.
