Summary
In this twenty-fourth Dreamy Audio entry, Lewis Moten recalls a dream that shifts fluidly from walking a wooded path to driving through worsening conditions. Gravel becomes road, rain intensifies, traffic thickens, and lanes turn hostile as trucks—and even a police car—press in, forcing constant adaptation just to keep moving.
The dream narrows into a lesson in traction and patience. Sliding through red lights without crashing, he discovers that slowing down—letting the wheels turn gently—creates grip. Progress comes not from force, but restraint, ending mid-maneuver as motion continues without full resolution.

Hello, today is July 2nd, 2005, and this is Lewie’s Dreamy Audio. I just woke up. I’m a sound tire. Last night’s dream, I jumped out, I was going through the woods on a path, and came to an open area, and I was crossing like gravel or something. Suddenly, I was in a car and driving. Driving across this gravel was going past someone’s house, then the gravel turned into a road, then I was driving just on a road. I was going back to that area, but it was raining, and there was like a highway, which was taking so long to get there, and it was raining, and there was a lot of traffic, and I was in the far left lane, it was a four lane highway, and it was just like one way highway. I didn’t see the other side, and these trucks kept coming over and trying to get my lane or cut me off. There was even a police car that was trying to cut me off as well. I finally figured out the trick of it was to get in the far right lane, because nobody was trying to get my right lane. I get to an area where I need to turn off to get into the development area where I originally came from. It turns out that I was sliding a lot. I did not have good traction. I’m going through traffic lights that are just turning red, and I can’t stop the vehicle. I’m just dodging cars that are coming from the roads that I’m crossing, almost crashing, but I don’t crash.
Go into the development area that I originally came from. It was just an area where I was going up the hill in this development, and the car was sliding so much that it wouldn’t go. And then I figured out that to get it to go, rather than just trying to press the gas a little bit, the fact that the wheels are turning so slow gives my vehicle the ability to actually get a grip and to move forward. Now I’m still swerving back from side to side, but it’s moving forward.
I come to an area where I can’t move forward anymore, so what I do is I put the vehicle into reverse, and I’m able to… Transcript. Transcript. Transcript. Transcript. Transcript. Transcript. Well, that’s pretty much what I can remember from my dream.
