Summary
In this fourth Dreamy Audio episode, Lewis Moten recalls a dream set inside a vividly renovated house, saturated with dark purples and wood tones. The focus rests on frustration with a contractor who can’t grasp the idea of openly sharing materials and methods for others to see and replicate.
The dream then shifts perspective into a failed prank: a staged shock meant to embarrass a man instead collapses when he calmly reframes the situation, leaving everyone else unexpectedly ashamed. The dream ends with withheld explanations, emphasizing reversal, misjudgment, and unfinished understanding.

Last night’s dream I dreamt of a house that was pretty much being redone or fixed up. It was some pretty crazy colors, like dark purples and dark wood on the side of the floor or something like that. I was like, I was trying to talk with the contractor guys into posting the colors, color skeins and wood selections and such to the internet. Or somewhere where people could see what exact colors he was using or how to do it themselves. And I was pretty much like, we already do that, but he wasn’t getting it. He was talking about other places that were normal, not this place.
And there was the whole setup for which this was for.
So I’m going to do a try to trick some guy. And for a little bit I was this guy and for the rest of it I was more like looking out over the situation. A woman had led him up to this room where there was a woman and a guy just dressed skimpy or something.
And then the woman that led the guy up to that room joined the other two and they were kind of doing their moves. And the guy was a bit shocked at first and that was pretty much the whole idea of a joke to pull on this guy. But then the guy, he said something and just made the three just stop and feel so sorry about themselves. And he just said something like he just pulled a total reversal and the sorryists crank out there or something.
I don’t know. And there was a younger girl behind him that he was explaining this to. But that’s as far as he would explain it. He wouldn’t say what the prank really was or why it backfired on these folks. Thank you.
