I had posted my <a href="http://dedricmauriac.wordpress.com/2008/01/03/the-path-to-encryption/" rel="noreferrer nofollow">text 2 bytes</a> conversion methods to <a href="https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Text_To_Byte_Conversion" rel="noreferrer nofollow">its own page on the LSL Wiki</a>. Strife Onizuka had a look at my original methods and suggested that I used some of the LSL functions to convert base64 strings to integers rather than parsing them out manually. The code is much smaller now and easier to maintain. I have other ideas to work with only the necessary bytes from the base64 string to take up even less memory with my encryption methods in another script. <strong><em>Posted by Second Life Resident <a href="http://profiles.slbuzz.com/dedric-mauriac" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Dedric Mauriac</a>. <a href="http://map.slbuzz.com/sim/Woodbridge/93/29/54/" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Visit Woodbridge</a>.</em></strong>
