EverQuest – http://www.everquest.com/
An online game that allows 1,000 to 1,500 people to interact with each other in a dynamic world using Direct3D technologies. The world will appear truly 3-dimensional. At this time, it is due out in the 1st quarter of 1999. I have been accepted into Beta Phase 3 to test the game.
Ultima Online – http://www.owo.com/
Ultima Online is also a multiplayer game that lets up to 1,000 players interact in a 3D isometric environment. Ultima takes place after the original game series 4th edition.
Shogo – http://www.shogo-mad.com/
A great game for the solitary player who loves anime (Japanese animation). A storyline with many cutscenes within each level of play truly sets this game apart from most shoot-’em-ups. The 3D environments are truly impressive, and the trade-off between playing in an MCA and as a human was a pretty good finishing touch to this game.
