During my childhood, our home frequently hosted gatherings where my mother showcased products from “Creative Expressions.” These events featured an array of craft kits, including those for cross stitch, latch hooking, and canvaswork, among others. I often found myself engrossed in these kits, exploring my creativity. I acquired sewing skills during my middle school years and further honed them in a high school home economics class, where I served as the treasurer of the Future Homemakers of America (FHA) in my senior year. Though less frequent now, I still enjoy occasional sessions with my sewing machine, unleashing my creativity anew.
