Duration: 1 hour, 10 minutes

Tonight we held a quick team meeting in Second Life for Relay For Life fundraising. At the time, I was serving as a team captain under my avatar name Dedric Mauriac, and the focus was simple: get donation kiosks and vendors out into the world, track them, and keep momentum moving.

A few early wins helped set the tone — kiosks were working, we had our first donations coming in, and we were already brainstorming ways to raise more through events and creative promotions. The main action item for everyone was to find at least one location (preferably high-traffic) where we could place a kiosk with permission from the landowner, then report the details so the team could be credited properly.

To keep everything organized, we logged kiosk placements on our team wiki, and we also discussed how event listings needed lead time to appear on the official Relay For Life calendar and related announcements. We also touched on practical boundaries: keeping fundraising activities within community guidelines, avoiding copyright issues, and making sure donations were attributed correctly.

Below is the full meeting transcript, preserved as it originally appeared.
